DTVR is a broadcasting equipment for station-produced broadcasting service covering long distance or radio shade area which has a function of reproducing clean and original signal from depleted public broadcasting signal. This DTVR system is composed of Exciter for falsificating/demodulating signal, HPA for large output, BPF for bandwidth-limitation.
DTVR-ACU and DTVR-EXCITER is fine and core equipment with functionality and reliability which takes charge of controlling digital signal, one of the required functions of DTVR system. This DTVR system is operated after being installed in relay station of each broadcasting station.

DTVR-EXCITER follows ATSC, North American and domestic broadcasting standard, and has a function of repeating signal after demodulating RF signal into other frequency range from VSB range. Also it is a digital TV relay machine with a function of turning public demodulated 8VSB signal into SMPTE or ASI standard signal.
DTVR-EXCITER has an adaptive DPD function and it allows revising signal distortion caused by aging of filter or amp and temperature on its own without service stoppage and user to control it directly when needed.
DTVR-EXCITERs DPD function is composed of Linear DPD for compensating for linear distortion of channel filter, and Non-linear DPD for compensating for nonlinear distortion of AMP.
For Non-linear DPD, it extracts parameter needed for DPD by measuring non-linearity of AMP by comparing A/D signal with signal before D/A with RF Down Converter after putting coupled signal from AMP to baseband with RF Down Converter.

Result of measurement is actual data drawn with RFA300A, and shows considerable improvement of distorted amplitude and status characteristic even on naked eyes.
